Master the features of Vital Minute AI, from basic recording to enterprise integrations.

Quick Start

Vital Minute AI is designed to be the fastest way to generate structured notes from audio.

  1. Select a Template Choose Clinical SOAP, General Meeting, or Study Guide from the home screen depending on your needs.
  2. Record Tap the big microphone button. Keep the app open while recording.
  3. Generate Stop the recording and wait for the AI to process your audio. In seconds, you'll have a structured document.

Cloud vs. On-Device Mode

What's the difference?
You can switch between modes in Settings at any time.

☁️ General Cloud (Default)

  • Best for: General meetings, study guides, casual use.
  • Pros: No download required, highest accuracy for general topics.
  • Privacy: We process audio on encrypted servers and delete it immediately after transcription.

🔒 Medical Offline (On-Device)

  • Best for: Clinical sessions, highly sensitive data, or no internet access.
  • Pros: 100% Private. Audio never leaves your phone.
  • Requirement: Requires a one-time download (~2GB) of our specialized AI model.

Recording & Audio

Tips for best results:

  • Place your phone centrally between speakers.
  • Avoid noisy environments like cafes with loud music.
  • For On-Device Mode, ensure your battery is charged as AI processing is intensive.

Using Templates

Select the right template for your needs:

  • Clinical SOAP: Generates Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan. Ideal for therapists and doctors.
  • General Meeting: Captures attendees, agenda items, key decisions, and action items.
  • Study Guide: Summarizes lectures into key concepts, quiz questions, and study points.

Exporting Notes

After generation, tap the Share icon to export via:

  • PDF: comprehensive report layout.
  • Text: raw text for copying into EHRs or emails.
  • Audio: share the original recording file.

Microsoft Teams Integration

Send meeting summaries directly to a Teams channel using Incoming Webhooks.

Step 1: Get your Webhook URL

  1. Open Microsoft Teams on your desktop.
  2. Go to the channel where you want minutes to appear.
  3. Click the three dots (...) next to the channel name -> Connectors.
  4. Search for "Incoming Webhook" and click Configure.
  5. Give it a name (e.g., "Fast Minutes") and click Create.
  6. Copy the URL that starts with https://outlook.office.com/....

Step 2: Configure App

  1. Open Vital Minute AI -> Settings.
  2. Tap Microsoft Teams.
  3. Paste your Webhook URL and tap Save.
  4. Now, when viewing a meeting result, tap Share -> Send to Teams.

Jira Integration

Turn extracted "Action Items" directly into Jira tickets.

Note: You need an API Token, not your password.

How to Setup

  1. Go to Atlassian Security Settings.
  2. Click Create API Token and copy it.
  3. In the App: Go to Settings -> Jira.
  4. Enter your Domain (e.g., mycompany.atlassian.net), your Email, and the API Token.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. In Cloud Mode, we use encrypted processing and do not train models on your data. In On-Device Mode, audio never leaves your phone.

Go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Ensure you are signed into the App Store account used to buy the credits.

In Cloud Mode, speed depends on your internet connection. In On-Device Mode, it depends on your phone's processor. Older phones may be slower.

Go to Settings -> Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers. Read more here.
